Like a young warlord

I am slowly gathering a small army to take on the project that is Obsidian!
I have already gathered a small crew together, which is growing and fermenting to become an unstoppable team.
Over the next weeks I have meetings with various interested parties, all with different skills, experience, and equipment. As more and more becomes confirmed I shall be releasing information.
This is the calm before the brewing storm, and all the other combined clich├ęs that mean things are happening and will be getting more exciting...

To tweet or not to tweet?

The sad thing is that despite the stupidness (yes that is a word, I just made it one) of that statement, I am probably not the first person to use it.

But should I bother joining the Twitterati?

some talking bird or something
I looked at it once… I signed up, and was bemused by the whole scenario: I called Kirsty Allsop an ‘Oxymoron’ and haven’t tweeted since.

So I have an account and everything, but I’m just not sure, an internal rage fuelled dialogue haunts my every waking moment; should I tweet? Do I care? Do other people care?

Now that is the important thing; Do other people care?

After all none of us are what we think we are, we are only what others think we are!

Argue with that when you’re on your own….

Gathering my army of filmmakers!

Right well I know I have the stamina of a herd of wildebeest, and the intense motivation of an American Speaker, however I now have to inspire those intense emotions in others.
So I first ask you to get on board with my short film: Obsidian by clicking that little like button on the right – yep that’s the one, click it! Clicky clicky!

Even these guys are motivated.
You can then join my Army of Chaos as I take over the world one film at a time!

I need cast and crew to make this project happen, so if you want to find out more about the film, visit the facebook page; however if you are already intensly motivated by my thrilling blog, then you can e-mail me: hpowis@mail.com.

Now get on with it!

OBSIDIAN

"Story board" Supposedly

Right so, onto the organisation of a film project!

This is the exciting bit, well it is for me, it’s where I get to play around with fonts (one of my favourite past times) and draw pictures of stickmen with arrows and stuff.

It is well exciting :D

I have started a little facebook group, so that you can ‘like’ the film (this is officially a verb now, apparently) and I know it seems a bit premature to say you like a film wot hasn’t been made; but you can like the process, or the enthusiasm, or me... everyone likes me. Even if its only in secret.
Yay! Fonts!

Well that’s all I’m going to waste my time saying for now, I’ve had enough of looking at your faces.

IT'S A WRAP!

Last night we finished filming the last few scenes of Craig Wyting’s short film ‘Me, Myself and I’.

I say ‘we’, but they filmed and I tried to keep quiet (no mean feat) and off camera (equally difficult) as these scenes were some of the few short seconds of the film in which I am not present.

I star as the exquisite ‘Sophie’, ravaged by the apathy of a slothful husband, and possessed with the power to seek the kind of revenge Greek Goddesses could only dream of.

It is a powerful exploration of the consequences people will have to face if they don’t do what I want them to do, and there’s a little bit about the other character as well, I forget his name.

All the footage has been sent to the editors, who will take it apart and put it together again, or some such nonsense, in the mean time I shall start work on my own piece:

The powerful gothic-fantasy-comedy thing that is ‘Obsidian’…

It starts

Well I suppose I ought to write a blog entry, seeing as I went to all the trouble of setting this thingy up.

I have to confess that I am not the most technologically minded individual, and I get befuddled easily; so it has been a great feat of perseverance and determination that has got me this bloggy malark.

I shall endeavour to keep you, my ardent fans, updated with all the latest events and exciting adventures as I progress.

Where to? I hear you ask with fervour.

Well I am about to partake in the adventure of creating films which you, yes you, can gawp at.

I am sleepy now so I shall continue on my adventure at some other time….
